About Me and Foot Jewelry
My name is Ashley and I reside in beautiful North Carolina. I have been making foot jewelry for a few years now and I was taught everything I know by my boyfriend's mom, Pamelia. She has been making foot jewelry for years and was one of the first to sell them online. She graciously taught me all of her tricks and tips, and of course I've learned my own along the way.
All of my foot jewelry is hand made by me. I've tried to get my boyfriend to help with toe beads, but he gets bored! I can't imagine. I use .7mm stretch cording, which allows the sandals to be both durable, but still comfortable enough to move with you. Foot sandals are closed in a time tested way with strong knots and glue. This is very comfortable as there is no clasp- each set is made in custom sizes so they will fit you perfectly.
Most of my barefoot sandals are made with silver lined seed beads- FYI these do not go in the water well. Chlorinated water especially can darken the silver lining and eat away at the colors. Generally my foot jewelry are not made to go in the water- however I can make sets featuring beads without the silver lining if you wish.
All foot jewelry is made to order and may take up to five days, depending on how many orders I currently have and my lame day job ;)
I love to do custom orders, if you are looking for a certain color or look. One of my favorites is designing foot jewelry for brides and bridesmaids. We always end up with a unique, one of a kind design with colors and shapes that match the bride's and her bridesmaid's style and of course- budget.
I do my best to keep my costs low- I buy my supplies on sale and with coupons 95% of the time. This allows me to sell my foot jewelry at lower cost. If you are ordering multiple sets of foot jewelry please feel free to contact me for a price quote! Often times I can find a wholesale deal on supplies and take a good chunk of the price off!
